Your moving date is getting closer, the utility transfers still need attention, and there are three stops on your list before you’ve packed a single kitchen cabinet. Somewhere between organizing transportation and deciding what to keep, you’re also supposed to find enough packing supplies for everything coming with you.
For Rochester-area moves, ROC Tote & Go takes a substantial part of that shopping and preparation off your list. The family-run business delivers clean, reusable plastic moving totes and dollies to your door, gives you two weeks to pack, move, and unpack, and collects the empty containers afterward.
Your Packing Supplies Can Come to You
Packing supplies are easy to underestimate until you begin collecting them. What initially looks like a few containers for the kitchen can quickly expand into supplies for closets, bedrooms, bookshelves, bathroom cabinets, and everything stored in the garage.
ROC Tote & Go offers residential rental packages organized around the size of your home. Instead of gathering containers from different places, you can select a package that suits your move and arrange for the equipment to arrive at your address.
Each package includes reusable red moving totes, dollies, labels, and zip ties. Delivery and pickup are free within the company’s published 20-mile service zone around Greece, NY, with mileage charges for locations served beyond that area.
That arrangement is particularly useful when your moving schedule already includes trips between two properties. Your packing equipment arrives at the place where you need to begin the work, and its return is part of the rental rather than another errand to arrange.
Get the Equipment Your Move Actually Needs
The number of containers you need depends on more than the number of bedrooms. A one-bedroom apartment with crowded closets and a substantial kitchen may require a different packing arrangement from a similarly sized apartment with fewer belongings.
ROC Tote & Go makes the initial decision easier with packages designed around common residential moving needs. Its published options range from a Dorm / Studio package containing 20 totes and one dolly to a 5+ Bedroom package containing 115 totes and three dollies.
